Neil arrived in Korea just before his birthday. We celebrated at school, since he shares a birthday with my student Naomi. They enjoyed pizza and a snowman ice cream cake. We had a proper adult celebration in Seoul the next weekend.
In February, we celebrated Heather's birthday by visiting the Korean war Memorial (really, she wanted to fit it in before she left and this was the only time) and having an amazing brunch.
Soon after, Heather went home to America :( She is now the proud owner of an iphone AND a car! Lucky girl.
Neil is cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat are you guys eating at the restaurant? Can't quite identify the food in the picture!
ReplyDeleteOnly the best food ever. On the left, a poached egg over crusty bread with pesto and mushrooms. On the right, berry ricotta french toast. Mmmm.
ReplyDeleteWhy didn't she stay with you for another year?
ReplyDeleteAnd bravo to you for getting your boyfriend to wear that hat!!
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm not actually staying another year. I only stayed an extra month to help out. But I leave pretty soon. Like, tomorrow!!
