We met Heather's parents at the Hilton in Seoul when they first arrived for breakfast. During our meal, we heard what sounded almost like gunshots. They progressively got louder and Terry and I saw people running towards the front of the hotel. Finally, the restaurant manager decided to explain what was happening. They were conducting terrorist attack drills in preparation for the G-20 summit in Seoul.
We went to Seoul Tower
Checked out the President's house. This is as close as we got.
The National Museum of Korea
Ate Cinnamon Pancakes
The view from the second hotel in Myeongdong
Outside the Catholic Cathedral in Myeongdong
City Bus Tour
And Gary, looking like a real Korean boyfriend.
We loved having Heather's parents here in Korea.
Gary and Terry,
Thank you for all the lovely meals and conversation. We miss you!
